Hey there
I'm driving the culture-shaking No Meat May campaign, a fun personal challenge to raise awareness of the 4 big issues with our meat production and over-consumption. Along with hundreds of others accross the globe I have pledged to eat no meat for the 31 days of May
(I know... easy for a 24:7:365 plant-powered peep).
I'm inspired by the great work of Lyn White and her team at Animals Australia and want to support them by raising some coin.

No Meat May is not for the weak of will, or the wuss-bags, it is for those brave planet-loving badass souls keen to reduce the serious impact of the world's meat consumption, and gain insights into their eating habits and the current culture in the western world of over-consumption. Investigations throughout the Middle East and South East Asia exposing cruelty in the live export trade resulted in the first ever suspension of live animal exports — to Egypt in 2006 then Indonesia in 2011 — and sweeping reforms to the operation of the entire industry.
An Animals Australia investigation into the factory farming of pigs in Australia which aired on 60 Minutes was a catalyst to the pig industry agreeing to restrict the use of pregnant sow stalls. And our ground-breaking investigations into 'live-baiting' in Australia's greyhound racing industry led to a government crack-down on the 'sport', dozens of trainers charged and jail time for perpetrators.
We are committed and unrelenting. We expose suffering, we educate the broader community, we research alternatives and we passionately and intelligently lobby governments to effect changes in laws to protect all animals. We have representation on all major state and national animal welfare committees.
We are a non-profit charitable organisation financed through community support. Our important work on behalf of animals is reliant on the generosity of our members and donors.
